I got to spend some quality time in the craft store this weekend and I found a plain pine broom for $1.99 along with a garland of autumn leaves and berries for $3.99 and decided that together they would make a nice hanging for our front door.So, I wrapped the garland around the broom, used the glue gun in some strategic areas, and presto. I think it took me about 10 minutes. I'm rather proud of it.
At the moment it's posed against a repurposed card catalogue that I use for storage of small bits and pieces and you can make out some of my various crafty supplies in their storage cubes on top.
